I tried out a new thing: semi-permanent hair color*
which I like on my head a lot (in a low-key, tiny-changes kind of way), but not as much on my towels, sheets, pillowcases, duvet.
Nice one, Garnier Herbashine. Thanks for ruining all my white linens.
*in "Root Beer Float: Medium Dark Brown", in case you couldn't tell by how much my hair looks like one. A root beer float.
Also, sometimes it takes a hair-color self portrait to really know how crooked your bangs are. It's non-accidental, I just didn't know it was so extreme.

Somehow red looked less dirty than brown. Would you agree?
Your hair color looks great! The towels...unfortunate.
You could try washing them on a soak cycle with your detergent and Borax laundry booster.
If that doesn't work, heat water almost to boiling in a giant pan on the stove, put a towel in and let it get completely wet. Then throw in some hydrogen peroxide and stir a bit with a wooden spoon to mud it all up.
The last works great with towels that are not 100% cotton, like microfiber hair towels.
