On Sunday we went to this zine workshop thing at the Leeway Foundation in the city. Talked about:  graphic design, zine fairs, issues*. I don't know about everyone else, but the most valuable lessons I took away from the whole thing were about folding/paging one sheets(!)**, and this new kind of gluestick I like.  It was okay.  We made these little trial run guys that will be good to reference

Tomorrow (Friday, the 28th) is Philly Photo Day!  So, short version is that you (anyone) take a picture* anywhere inside city limits, at any time of day on Friday.  You upload it to the Photo Arts Center, and they print it and hang it as part of a big exhibition at Crane on November 10.  Every single picture people send in gets in the show.  Some of it is good, and some is bad, but it's all worth

I've been dragging my feet when it comes to this kitchen.  New stove is coming, and there's no food anyway, so I haven't really been spending much time down there. Last night though, I took a page from Kelly's book and contacted my kitchen cabinets.  Dungeon Kitchen II is not by any means glamorous now, but at least the disintegrating particle board is being held together.  With contact paper.

Empty/full. One windy day, there were a hundred papers blowing around in front of our house. I forgot to take a picture then, when the tornado effect was at its peak. Then it rained.
