Making everything in the waffle maker lately. Favorites: french toast (waffles) and grilled cheese (waffles) with honeycrisp apple slices! It's like the most beautiful sandwich press, and I'm a little mad I didn't think of it ten years ago.
AND, through that blog, through a different waffle thing, I just learned that waffled french toast is from the Joy of Cooking! People were waffling french toast in the thirties. What. The. Heck.
